• Communication and Education:

  • Serving as a key liaison between the patient, their family, and the rest of the medical team (doctors, specialists, therapists).

  • Providing vital health education to patients and families on managing illnesses, administering home care, and understanding treatment protocols.

  • Documenting all care, interventions, and patient progress accurately in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).

• Supervision and Advocacy:

  • Supervising and delegating tasks to other nursing staff, including Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).

  • Advocating for the patient’s needs, safety, and rights throughout their care journey.
